Rex Gore

Rex Gore grew up in Kansas and received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from Kansas State University. In 1985, Rex and his wife, Deb, moved to Austin with their young family and partnered with Dennis Dautel to start Clean Cut, a startup landscape venture that was later purchased. Since 2000, he has been the President of the Austin branch of PJS of Texas, the largest private commercial janitorial company in the state. Mr. Gore has increasingly focused on making a difference in the nonprofit and policy arena, particularly in education. He founded PelotonU in 2013 with Hudson Baird, an innovative higher ed model that provides a pathway for nontraditional students to earn college degrees. Rex lives in Austin with his wife, Deb, and they are blessed with two sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and a beautiful granddaughter.
