Jesus said…."the son of man came not to be served, but to serve…" (Mark 10:45)

Jesus prayed… "that [we] would all be one….so that the world would believe that you have sent me." (John 17:21)

Jesus commanded… "Let your light shine before me, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

Jesus tells us that the world will know Him by our love for one another (our unity).

Jesus tells us that through our good deeds (our serving) the light of Christ will shine brightly in our city.

On Saturday, August 11, many churches in Georgetown will be unified together and mobilized across our city serving others, with the hope that Georgetown will see the love and light of Christ on display.

The mission of Love Georgetown is to join together as the body of Christ in Georgetown to put the gospel on display by serving our community as Christ has served us.
