Emily is one of those people who native Austinites love to hate – she grew up in Dallas and came this way after college because she heard the town was "cool". She currently serves as Program Manager and has been with ABBA since February 2015. A loyal Aggie, she did several tours at Texas A&M and has a master's in international affairs, national security, and diplomacy, which so far has not made her any better at watching complicated spy movies. Before coming to ABBA she worked at a children's home as an office whiz, horse instructor, and part-time mom.
Emily has an over-developed sense of justice and deeply cares about adoption, foster care, domestic minor sex trafficking, sexual and domestic violence, and at-risk youth. Her favorite things are sunsets over pastures and rivers, sarcasm, horses, and her people.
