Expanding a business to just paying bills.

Pre-pandemic, the dream was to expand our businesses; but, with lost revenue, we realized we needed to put those plans on hold, or in some cases, abandon the business altogether.

I let those circumstances force me to become very myopic on surviving month to month. I wouldn’t let myself dream for fear of being disappointed. It made my work feel unfulfilling. When I started to dream again, I started to make plans related to growth and opportunity even in the midst of the pandemic, because I was dreaming again, I started to thrive, and my work came alive.
