To unite PEOPLE in neighborhoods to support & encourage one another.
To support the work God is doing & to share His blessings in areas of need.
To raise the spiritual level of the city of Austin.
To bring the people of Austin to Christ.
How it Works:
Log on to the interactive map or fill out the street adoption form and commit to adopt-a-street for one year.
Prayerfully walk your street & ask God how He can meet needs.
Each person in the city is experiencing prayer for God’s blessings in their life.
Central Texas will become a House of Prayer.
Prayer Focus:
Prayer is focused on the joy, peace & prosperity of the city.
Prayer is focused on blessing the city.
Prayer is focused on supporting the work God is doing in Central Texas.
Two years ago, Newark, NJ was known as the murder capital of the US. During the first year the city adopted 33% of their streets in prayer, the murder rate went down 33%. Currently, Newark has adopted 46% of their streets in prayer & this year, their murder rate dropped 46%! Learn more at www.prayerfornewark.org.
