We recognize that ministries are one of the key avenues through which churches will be able to help their congregations minister to the city on a broad scale basis. Through partnerships with existing ministries, those who are wanting to serve can maximize the time they have available to serve, they can connect with areas of personal passion and conviction and know that they are making a difference in the lives of people who are needing to know that someone cares. The Ministry Leadership Team is currently
in development. Like the Pastors Strategic Council and the Business Leadership Council, the Ministry Leadership Council will help strategize ways that ministries can leverage their resources and service in order to make a broader impact in our Community.
If you are a ministry leader and you desire to connect with others to leverage what each other brings to the table OR you are an individual wanting to connect with a particular area of serving, we can help.
Ways to engage the faith community with your ministry or non‐profit
• Identify specific volunteer opportunities that people can sign up for and list them on Zetify Austin.
• Consider identifying 3 various levels of involvement: Simple (1 time opportunity that is
a minimal time requirement); Moderate (a more involved commitment with your
organization requiring either multiple interactions or a longer term engagement);
Involved (a very involved commitment such as a long term volunteer or Board position).
• Check out “In the City For the City” initiatives and determine if there is a way for you to partner with others in the community.
