It’s not just the city of Austin that we are concerned about. When we say “city strategy”, we really are talking about the 5 county region around Austin – the city’s commuting radius. We have 4 strategic initiatives that, together, comprise our City Strategy. These initiatives encompass a holistic approach that addresses the supernatural activity of God, engages spiritual and civic leadership and empowers followers of Christ to serve and be salt & light in our communities. These 4 initiatives are:
Prayer: Developing & promoting an intentional strategy to cover and engage every neighborhood and resident with prayer
Pastors & Churches: Influencing the spiritual leaders towards unity and owning the lostness of the city
City Needs: Helping the Church stay informed about and address critical needs of Austin
Living on Mission: Mobilizing Believers in the cultural areas influencing our society (“domains”).
