The Business Leadership Council is a group of 10 area business leaders who are thinking through how their unique gifting and makeup can help bring strategic influence to the city – both in conjunction with the other Leadership Teams and within this unique area of our culture. When asked to consider what it is that they uniquely bring to the table, they identified five areas where they feel they best contribute:
• Leadership‐ lead by example, gather with other leaders, or give dedicated time versus
leftover time
• Influence ‐ influence, resources, networking & relationships
• Finances ‐ provide capital & financial resources
• Expertise – offer unique experience and skills they have learned in their fields
• Service ‐ encourage employees to give of themselves through service in the community to
benefit others in need
• Spiritual ‐ Initiate or promote spiritual conversations, business testimonies, Christian
education, groups for prayer and Bible study
